My role:

As the first, and sole creative designer in the marketing team at iVendi, my focus was on optimising creative and brand across the business, with the goal to improve brand perception and increase customer acquisition. 

My role encompassed:

Illustration development

Project overview:

Create a new illustration style for use across all touchpoints, including the iVendi website, digital marketing assets, event stands and printed materials. The company was previously using generic stock assets that failed to communicate their complex product.

Goals:

  • Develop an illustration style that fit within the iVendi brand guidelines, whilst serving as an effective way to communicate the product and customer journey

  • Create visual cohesion by developing a large bank of illustrations suitable for use across the business

​​

My contribution:

  • Illustration development from sketch to final design

  • Ideation of illustrations required based upon website content and marketing strategies

  • Collaboration with a motion graphic designer to create effective animations and motion graphics

HubSpot website redesign

Project overview:

Design a new HubSpot website with the aim to improve user journey and reduce bounce rate.
Collaborating with an external HubSpot design agency to complete the dev work, and internal Digital Marketing Specialist to refine the user journey, copy, SEO and messaging framework.

 

Goals:

  • Reduce bounce rate of visitors to the website

  • Improve the user journey - develop a website structure to serve a host of different customer types including: retailers, finance lenders, car manufacturers, and corporate enterprises

  • ​Create visual cohesion across all areas of the website and marketing campaigns

My contribution:

  • Design direction for the website styling and the modules created by the
    external agency

  • Illustration and animation development - ensuring suitability across other use cases across print and digital media

  • Develop customer journey, ensuring cohesion with planned integrated marketing campaigns

​​

Project success:

  • 100% closed won rate on all leads generated 30 days after go live

  • 40% reduction in bounce rate in the 3 months following launch

  • 4 languages versions launched - English, French, German and Spanish
